Since 1999 David Malone has directed a public awareness campaign championing the ideological isolation and destruction of Al Qaeda.  Instead of the dubious effort that has caused mass civilian casualties throughout the Muslim world, our nonviolent campaign proposes a silver-bullet strategy for defeating the Al Qaeda insurgency on the war's main battlefield, the ideological front.  Put simply, we can best counter Al Qaeda’s apocalyptic agenda by exposing Osama bin Laden's genocidal war plan to kill four billion people. 

The anti-Al Qaeda advocacy group founded on the educational website Binladensplan.com includes five books (one published and one unpublished are available), numerous essays and a dramatic screenplay all authored by David Malone.  The theory of political science presented in these writings emerged from David’s independent research of Osama bin Laden that, years prior to 9/11, identified the terror kingpin's global syndicate as the greatest threat to world security.

David's thesis on the Messiah pretension motivating Al Qaeda's crusader-baiting strategy represents a unique assimilation of publicly available information, including: thousands of mainstream news articles, scholarly essays, film documentaries, policy documents, and selected books.  This theory on Bin Laden's plan has been validated by the inception and the unfolding of the 9/11 War, particularly the syndicate’s success at provoking the Bush Administration to squander America's good will and capital on an Iraq war.  Accurately anticipating and publicly opposing these developments, David has walked in the shadows of famous anti-Al Qaeda activists like the FBI's John O'Neill, the NSC’s Bruce Riedel, and the NSC's Richard Clarke, along with lesser known intelligence agents.

Representing the defensive front of this public awareness campaign, David's successful record of war forecasting is based on a novel trends analysis of Al Qaeda terrorist attacks and public statements.  Essentially, David’s projection of future Al Qaeda plots has endeavored to answer the following question: How would Al Qaeda's high command proceed if it aimed to portray the megalomaniacal Osama as the awaited millennial Muslim Messiah of the Apocalypse waging the mythological global war against the crusading "Great Satan" empire?

During the next four years, this trends analysis forecasts major Al Qaeda attacks against American targets timed to influence U.S. national elections in 2010 and 2012.  David’s projection anticipates that Al Qaeda will design these “October Surprise” psychological operations to rig votes in favor of warhawks, following the syndicate’s previous October Surprise terrorist attacks that aimed to support the presidential election of George W. Bush in 2004 and John McCain in 2008.  Notably, David’s political affiliation is neither Democrat nor Republican, but rather one-issue Independent.

THE 9/11 ATTACK

Regarding the most noteworthy of David’s past forecasts about Al Qaeda plots, David specifically warned of the 9/11 plot as early as 1999 that Bin Laden would attempt to start World War III with a catastrophic terrorist attack on the most high-profile buildings in the Washington, D.C. area and the Wall Street area of New York in 2001.  Like other counterterrorism experts such as Simon Reeve (author of The New Jackals: Ramzi Yousef, Osama bin Laden and the Future of Terrorism, 1999), David identified the World Trade Center as the primary target of Bin Laden’s millennial attack.  David's trends analysis further projected that, if successful, this unprecedented terrorist attack would provoke the successive American invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq (view original prediction in MSWord - Story3.doc (300K)).

This prediction of the 9/11 War, including the inciting attack’s targets, timing and consequence, emerged primarily from a trends analysis of the following relevant history.

(1) Al Qaeda's public statements declared global war on America and later threatened the seats of American power in New York and Washington following President Clinton's botched cruise missile attack on Bin Laden in 1998.

(2) Bin Laden's pre-9/11 warpath demonstrated an escalating size, sophistication, symbolic importance and directness of attacks on America, indicating that Al Qaeda was next planning a catastrophic, sophisticated terrorist bombing of highly symbolic targets in the U.S. homeland.

(3) Al Qaeda's spectacular success in 1998 against the United States with simultaneous catastrophic bombings, the powerfully felt signature of terrorist sophistication, indicated that its next attack would employ this hallmark against buildings that are the seats of American power.

(4) The failure of Al Qaeda's crusader-baiting strategy prior to 9/11 required a progression towards more inflammatory attempts to provoke America into invading Afghanistan and Iraq.

(5) Al Qaeda's anti-American propaganda justified its war as legitimate resistance to American imperialism and Bin Laden endeavored to portray symbolically his terrorist attacks in this light. The ultimate symbols of the American capitalism and militarism targeted by Al Qaeda's global insurgency were buildings located in New York's Wall Street district and the nation's capital city area.

(6 ) Bin Laden's long-winded support for the first World Trade Center bombing and confessions of convicted Al Qaeda conspirators indicated that he viewed this terrorist plot as an unfinished model operation for his war.

(7 ) Bin Laden's millennial Messiah pretension required that he initiate a "righteous" global war to destroy his "Great Satan" adversary at the start of the millennium, in the year 2001.

(8) The comparative historical warpaths of Napoleon and Hitler (history's other world war provocateurs) exhibit an anomalous parallel with Bin Laden's career that foreshadowed the 9/11 attack as a new Pearl Harbor that would provoke America to enter a world war.

(9) The belligerent disposition of the neo-conservative Bush Administration toward Iraq and its conspicuous ignorance of the Al Qaeda threat indicated that it would respond to the 9/11 attack with a token invasion of Al Qaeda's Afghanistan and a massive invasion of Iraq.

David sharpened this prediction by accurately anticipating the month that Al Qaeda executed the 9/11 attack, September 2001.  This forecast emerged from observation of Al Qaeda’s willful imitation of famous apocalyptic mythologies, particularly a most precise prediction about this time frame originating from ancient Egyptian prophecy.  Additionally, David honed this 9/11 prediction by accurately anticipating the month of the plot’s inception, July 1999 (see The 9/11 Commission Report, Executive Summary; The 9/11 Commission Report, electronic version (Microsoft Reader format), p.428, 432; foi.missouri.edu/foiintelligence/fbireport.html).  This early projection also emerged from consideration of Al Qaeda’s intentional emulation of prominent millennialist prophecies, especially Nostradamus’ most famous prediction about the Christian Antichrist / Muslim Messiah, identified as the “great King of Terror” who would arrive on the world scene in “July of 1999”.  Along with this ancient prophetic factor guiding Al Qaeda’s strategy, David’s first prediction about the 9/11 plot was based on (1) Al Qaeda’s habit of carefully planning its major attacks 1-2 years in advance, (2) the anticipated millennium attack date, and (3) expectation of an Al Qaeda response to the August 1998 bombings of Bin Laden bases in Afghanistan.

Beyond predicting 9/11, David’s trends analysis of Al Qaeda plots also accurately foreshadowed many other major events of the 9/11 War.  Most verifiably, David predicted Al Qaeda’s 2004 scheme to intervene on the eve of the U.S. presidential election with an “October Surprise” designed to rig the vote in favor of George W. Bush.  This forecast was encapsulated in an early unpublished version of the David’s book Bin Laden’s Plan (Trafford, 2005).  Marking the first publicized prediction of David’s trends analysis, this forewarning proposed that Bin Laden’s October Surprise in the three weeks before Bush’s election in 2000 (the bombing of the USS COLE) was a predictive model for an active Al Qaeda plot to replicate this success in October 2004.  In particular, David proposed that this psychological operation by Al Qaeda would not involve an attack on the U.S. homeland.  David’s warning was circulated in the email newsgroup run by Professor Paul Ehrlich of Stanford University in the days before Bin Laden swayed American public opinion towards President Bush by issuing his most famous media release.   In a terrorist operation that exceeded the impact of the syndicate’s millennial October Surprise, the Al Qaeda chief’s shocking video recording explicitly claimed responsibility for 9/11 (for the first time), disparaged the wartime president, implicitly endorsed his Democratic challenger and promised future 9/11’s if America did not alter its war policy.  David’s success in accurately anticipating this Al Qaeda plot led him to publicize nationally another prediction about a similar Al Qaeda October Surprise plot in 2008 designed to rig the U.S. election in favor of the warhawk John McCain.  This latest war forecast was fulfilled when Al Qaeda launched its greatest surge of terrorism against American targets since 9/11 in the weeks before the 2008 vote.  Fortunately, the October-Surprise plot failed to achieve its greatest goals, including the largest terrorist attack in world history during the opening days of October inside Mumbai. 

THE NEXT 9/11

Currently, David is warning about Al Qaeda's active campaign to provoke the US invasions of Iran and Pakistan in order to sustain Bin Laden's "crusader-baiting" grand strategy.  David anticipates that this campaign will culminate, quite possibly during September-October of either 2010 or 2012, in a new 9/11 plot against the American homeland involving attacks on leading military and economic targets in the U.S. capital and New York City.

David's successful record of accurately anticipating the unfolding 9/11 saga most powerfully affirms the credibility of his trends analysis and war counsel.  The likelihood of further catastrophic terrorism by Bin Laden’s apocalyptic cult compels the superpower to revise fundamentally the failing war policy formulated by President Bush through the adoption of an informed set of recommendations and support for effective ideological campaigns against Al Qaeda.

ORIGIN OF STUDY

Aside from accurately anticipating Al Qaeda plots and devising Bin Laden’s ideological demise, David Malone has distinguished himself in academic pursuits throughout his life.  As a devoted young scholar who consistently ranked nationally among the top 5% of students throughout grades 1-12, David proceeded to graduate as a tri-varsity athlete and Advanced Placement Scholar with Cum Laude status from a distinguished New England preparatory school.  High scores on seven AP examinations allowed David to begin college with the credit status of a sophomore at the highly regarded University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

David began to prepare for a career in natural resource economics, a study that interested him because of the substantial risk of a global nuclear war arising from the inequitable distribution of limited natural resources, especially oil.  David viewed this as the most significant menace to humanity's future, like a meteor on course to hit the Earth in 15 years, compelling an attempt to help save us.  Specifically, David hoped to assist the global movement for sustainable human development, as envisioned by the Earth Charter (www.earthcharter.org).

The rise of Bin Laden in 1998 as the personification of the looming apocalyptic risk shifted David's attention to the study of Al Qaeda, including the possibility of defeating this terrorist empire through a Manhattan-Project-like initiative to resolve sustainably the global energy crisis.  After having completed a year of college, David left a promising career in natural resource economics to pursue exclusively an independent study of the Al Qaeda threat in 1999.  From this point on, David devoted his talents and resources to understanding the mysterious Al Qaeda organization and fighting the global war against this menace on the primary battlefield, the ideological front.
